Numbers and number songs

This week some of the Nursery children have been learning about the number 0. Please could you practice this with your child at home by drawing 0, by putting away toys so there is 0 toys on the floor and watching the numberblocks video 'Zero the hero'. Some of the other Nursery children have been learing the Nursery Rhyme 5 Little monkey jumping on the bed. It would be lovely if parents could sing this song with thier children to help with the children's counting skills. During the song you could ask them, 'how many are left now?'
