Snails!
A child brought a snail into school today and
it sparked such awe and wonder in the children. They spent all morning creating
a house for the snail. They children cut out different shaped windows and doors
for the house. Some children created signs for the snail.
Nursery named the snail Fifi.
One of the children asked if we could find the snails family so we took the children on a snail hunt in the secret garden.
The children were fantastic and found a large Daddy Snail, a Mummy snail, a brother and a sister snail.
We took them back to the class to look after. The children collect leaves and grass to add to the snails home.
