Walk around School
This week we took Nursery on a walk around school and went on a listening walk. The children showed lots of curiosity at all the different sounds they could hear such as the birds, trees and wind. On our walk, the children talked about how the colour of the leaves are changing and why that is happening. We also identified the colour of the leaves we found.
To support the children's gross motor skills they gave them the opportunity to explore climbing and jumping off the tyres. The children also found ladybirds on the tyres, which sparked lots of conversation about where they live and what they look like.
