Flowers
As part of this half-terms topic the children explored the different parts of a flower. Using real flowers, the children created their own. During this activity we spoke to the children about what each part of a flower is called.
Each day the children have checked their sunflowers to see how they are growing and changing over time.
Linked to our book of the week 'Jasper's
Beanstalk' the children have been learning about length. This week the children
have been exploring how to measure their feet and measuring themselves against
our giant beanstalk.
