The caterpillars have now changed to butterflies. They children thought about what we learnt before the holidays about the life cycle of a caterpillar. We looked at the chrysalis and the butterflies. We thought about what they might need to eat and talked about why there is fruit in the net. The children went outside together to release the butterflies. It was a little too cold to for them so they didn’t want to fly away! We will try again another day!
